HDPE BOARD

HDPE Board High Density Polyethylene Board is a thermoplastic engineering plastic made from high density polyethylene resin a highly crystalline, non polar thermoplastic material. In its natural state, HDPE appears milky white with a slightly translucent cross section. It is widely used across industrial, commercial, and consumer applications due to its excellent balance of strength, chemical resistance, and cost effectiveness.

Key Properties

Chemical Resistance

Resists most acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and hot water. It is not resistant to strong oxidizing agents , aromatic hydrocarbons , and halogenated hydrocarbons.

Low Moisture Absorption

Non-hygroscopic with excellent water vapor barrier properties, making it suitable for packaging applications.

Excellent Impact Resistance

Medium to high molecular weight grades offer outstanding impact resistance, even at temperatures as low as -40°F .

Low-Temperature Performance

Usable at temperatures as low as -70°C to -100°C.
