How to choose thickness?
After choosing the right plate type, you also need to choose the right thickness. According to the experience of advertising production, different thicknesses correspond to different uses:
1. Light and thin type (3mm - 5mm) Applicable scenarios:
UV printing/inkjet printing board: The preferred thickness for direct printing of images. Indoor short-term exhibition board: hung on the wall or attached to the display rack, no load-bearing required.
Hanging signs: Such as the hang tags in supermarkets, which are light and safe.
Suggestion: If you are making a simple graphic advertising painting, 3mm or 5mm free foam board or ordinary crust board is enough.
2. Structural type (6mm - 10mm)
Applicable scenarios:
Engraving logos: Making lettering and logos requires a certain thickness to reflect the three-dimensional effect.
Light box panel: It needs a certain strength to support the picture and has good light transmittance.
